Every Beyblade X top is three separate parts: a Blade on top, a Ratchet in the middle and a Bit underneath. They are fully interchangeable, and the combination is what a name like Dran Sword 3-60F actually describes — blade Dran Sword, ratchet 3-60, bit F.
Most of what decides a battle happens below the blade. The bit determines how the top moves across the stadium floor and whether it can catch the X-Celerator rail for an Xtreme Dash; the ratchet sets height and weight distribution. Experienced players buy products for their parts and rebuild from there, which is why the same handful of bits turn up under completely different blades at tournaments.
