Wyvern Gale is a round right-spin stamina blade with a smooth edge and four contact points, each with a wide gap behind it. At about 32 grams it is one of the lighter blades in the early lineup, and that is its basic limit. The smooth outline spins efficiently: in a solo launch test it outlasted Hells Scythe. The gaps, however, can catch an incoming hit and throw it away at speed. Its raised contact points also leave the frame and ratchet exposed, so opponents can get under it and lift it.
It is a budget stamina blade, not a competitive one. The low weight, raised points and weak defense mean the standard attackers of that era, including Dran Sword, Shark Edge and Phoenix Wing, tend to push it around. Against Hells Scythe it wins mostly when Scythe’s recoil sends Scythe out of the stadium. It holds up fine against other stock combos. Later stamina blades such as Wizard Rod and Wyvern Hover left it far behind.
Gale needs to sit low, so the stock 5-80 is the first part to replace. Use 3-60 or 4-60 for most builds, 5-60 for stationary ones, and 3-80 if bursts become a problem. Orb is the most stable bit for it. Needle, High Needle and Spike work but destabilize more easily. Ball and Gear Ball are strong stamina bits, but their drifting movement exposes its weak defense. Most players looking for stamina move to Wizard Rod or another heavier, rounder blade.
