Wall Wedge keeps Wedge’s sharp, narrow tip and adds a cylindrical wall around it. The tip still does the work — small contact patch, high stamina, holds the centre — but the wall acts as a backstop: when the combination tilts far enough for the wall’s edge to touch the floor, that contact pushes it back toward upright instead of letting the lean continue into a topple. The same solution appeared earlier on Wall Ball, so this is Takara Tomy applying a proven fix to a different tip family rather than inventing something new. Whether it inherits Wedge’s reduced ten-tooth gear count is not documented.
Wall Wedge released in January 2026, and there is no meaningful public testing behind it yet. Retailer copy calls it an immovable defensive wall, which is marketing rather than evidence. The mechanism is sound in principle and addresses Wedge’s real weakness, but until players put hours on it against live opposition there is no honest read on whether the wall helps enough to justify choosing it over plain Wedge — or whether the added floor contact costs enough stamina to cancel the benefit.
