Point, from the BX-15 Leon Claw Starter, is not a sharp tip at all despite its name. It is a small ball-shaped nub barely protruding from a thin flat ring, and the two surfaces do different jobs. Land flat and the bey rides the inner ball, spinning quietly near the centre like a stamina part. Land at an angle and it drops onto the outer ring, which behaves like a flat tip — fast, aggressive, able to catch the X-Line and convert into an Xtreme Dash.
That makes Point the most launch-dependent bit in its group, and its competitive standing follows directly from that. Positioning, angle and power decide which mode you get, so it rewards practice and punishes inconsistency, and many tournament players consider it too risky to bring under pressure. It can imitate a stamina bit without matching Ball’s stamina, and imitate an attack bit without matching Flat’s speed. A wide shaft gives it strong burst resistance, at least.
Players who want the aggression reliably swap to a dedicated attack bit; those who want the stationary mode take Ball or High Needle. Point is a skill pick.
