Bahamut Blitz Blade

Bahamut Blitz is the CX-13 attack starter and uses a newer, four-part blade: the Bahamut lock chip, the Blitz metal blade, the Break over blade, and the Knuckle assist blade. That is the BK in the stock name, Bahamut Blitz BK1-50I. Blitz is a metal-built main blade of about 30 grams made for smash hits. Break, under 4 grams, sits over it, and Knuckle is a five-sided assist below. The stock bey ships on the 1-50 ratchet with Ignition.

Blitz is one of the stronger CX main blades on paper and sits in the upper-middle of tournament rankings. It hits hard against the right opponents, but it is a specialist. Its stamina is poor, it wears down quickly with use, and reviewers say it is too niche to beat the best CX options consistently. Knuckle is generally seen as the weak link, because its five-sided shape and its recoil do not suit most blades. Several reviewers note that the most valuable parts in the box for competitive players are the 1-50 ratchet and the Ignition bit, not the blade.

In practice Knuckle is almost always swapped for Heavy, and Break stays on top, with Flow as the alternative. 1-50 is by far the most common ratchet, followed by 1-60 and 9-60, with Low Rush, Rush or Kick on the bottom. Emperor is a frequent lock chip swap. Players who want an all-round CX attacker look to Blast instead.
