Shinobi Shadow Blade

Shinobi Shadow is a three-sided Unique Line Defense blade with three smooth contact points meant to parry rather than strike. Each point is metal on top and plastic underneath, and like other UX blades it uses resin launcher hooks. Its standout trait is how little it weighs: about 28 g, one of the lightest blades in Beyblade X and well short of the 36 g-plus the heaviest blades carry.

That lightness defines how it plays. A Defense blade needs mass to resist knockouts, and Shinobi Shadow does not have it, so knockout resistance and stamina are both poor. The smooth, low-recoil outline also rules it out as an attacker. Fan wiki testing calls it heavily outclassed and says it struggles against anything above roughly 34 to 35 g, which covers most of the field. It does not appear on BeyMeta’s current blade tier list.

Its stock 1-80 Metal Needle is meant to sit in the center and wait. The other UX-05 versions use 9-60 Low Flat and 3-70 Gear Point, and UX-12 uses 3-80 Flat, but no source identifies a build that fixes the weight problem. The plastic lower contact points have been noted as handy on other Defense setups, with Mummy Curse cited as an example. Players who want a real Defense or Stamina blade move to heavier options.
