Zap Bit (Z)

Zap pairs a wide, high-friction plastic disc with a small ball nub sitting proud in the middle of it, and runs sixteen gears around the rim instead of the usual twelve. Those two features work against each other on purpose: the broad rim grabs the floor and drives the bey out to the X-Line, while the nub only takes over once velocity has bled off, at which point the combo settles into lazy circles near the middle.

The sixteen gears buy velocity through the Xtreme Dash and charge stamina for it. Documentation is blunt about the result — Zap is erratic, skips the rail entirely when launched too hard, and self-knocks out often enough to frustrate newer players. It is the most aggressive balance bit released so far and also one of the least trustworthy.

Launch technique matters more here than the rest of the build; a banked or tilted shoot keeps it on the rail, a flat one gambles. Players who like the early-aggression, late-stamina mode change but want it tamed run Point instead. Players who only wanted the speed move to Accel, which shares the sixteen-gear count without the protruding tip.
