Samurai Calibur Blade

Samurai Calibur is a squarish Balance blade with four thick, semi-aggressive contact points that sit flat, angled neither up nor down. That boxy outline stands out against the rounder blades common in Beyblade X, and at about 36 g it has competitive weight. Takara Tomy pitches a two-stage fight: quick strikes from the small edges early on, then heavier hits from the large edges once the top tilts and the stock Merge bit’s rubber reaches the floor.

Fan wiki testing treats it as a jack of all trades. It holds up well against Attack, Balance and Defense combos but lacks the recoil and stamina to deal with good Stamina combos, and the top-tier blades (Shark Scale, Wyvern Hover, Aero Pegasus) outclass it. The tournament data is a little kinder: BeyMeta’s 30-day tier list to late September 2026 places it 17th, in the B tier, ahead of most of the blades in its release window. It is a real secondary option, not a centerpiece, and its weak spot against stamina limits how often it gets picked.

The stock 6-70 Merge leans on the bit’s rubber edge. For anti-attack builds the wiki points to Balance or Attack bits such as Kick or Unite, and to Wedge for Defense builds. Players who need to beat stamina lineups move to Shark Scale or Wizard Rod, which cover the matchup it loses.
