High Needle is the taller sibling of Needle, introduced with the BX-13 Knight Lance Booster. The cone is sharper and set on a longer shaft, and that raised height changes the behaviour meaningfully: launched with force, it moves noticeably more than Needle does before settling, giving it a semi-stationary character that can slip past an opponent’s opening rush before it parks itself in the middle of the stadium.
Nominally a defense bit, High Needle is in practice one of the best stamina parts in the game — frequently cited as having the highest raw spin-time potential in Beyblade X, and it earns real tournament use across a wide spread of blades. That is a genuine staple, not a niche curiosity.
The catch is structural. The shaft has no widened section, so burst resistance is poor, and the tiny contact point means a destabilised combo tends to fall onto the low angle of the cone and stay tilted, scraping away stamina with no easy way back upright. That fragility is why players who want a safer defensive floor drop to Ball, accepting less stamina for far better recovery and knockout resistance.
