Golem Rock is a hexagonal Defense blade with six main contact points of two kinds: three thick, semi-aggressive arms and three thinner, sharper ones. It has no moving gimmick beyond the resin launcher hooks used across the Unique Line to push weight outward, and it comes in around 34 grams. The contact points were shaped with its stock Under Needle bit in mind, so that a low-sitting bey can meet attacks from underneath and send recoil back.
It is a good casual Defense blade and a weak competitive one. Reviewers call it among the better Defense blades of its time but say it cannot be recommended for tournament play; it has niche use in anti-attack builds but is outclassed by Shark Scale, Aero Pegasus, Wizard Rod and Silver Wolf. At around 34 grams it lacks the mass to hold off the heavy attackers, and its low stamina leaves it exposed in long stamina matchups.
The stock 1-60 Under Needle pairing keeps it low and planted, which is how it was designed to play. A Golem Rock Kick build is suggested for a more mobile Balance setup that still resists knockouts. Its later appearance in the CX-11 deck set on M-85 Hexa gives another taller option. Players who want defense that holds up competitively move to Wizard Rod or Silver Wolf.
