Ignition Bit (I)

Ignition is the most extreme attack bit released so far, and its construction says so. The tip is hollowed out, with eight protrusions spaced around a thin perimeter generating friction against the stadium floor, and the gear ring carries sixteen teeth against the usual twelve. More teeth means the bit grabs more of the X-Celerator rail per pass, which produces noticeably faster Xtreme Dashes. It also sits two millimetres below standard height, matching the Under variants, so its attacks come in low enough to threaten burst as well as knockout.

The obvious cost is endurance — all of that friction and dash speed drains spin quickly, and a combination using it has to convert in the opening exchanges or lose on stamina by default. Beyond that, this bit is too new for a settled competitive verdict. It arrived in March 2026, and while the descriptive consensus is that its movement speed is unmatched, there is no accumulated tournament record to say whether that speed survives contact with real opposition or whether the self-knockout risk makes it unusable. Anyone quoting a tier placement for Ignition right now is guessing.
