Vortex Bit (V)

Vortex is a flat plastic tip cut into a spiral, its ridges angled to the right. The pattern grabs hard: friction is high, the bey pushes outward quickly and reaches the X-Line without much coaxing, producing fast and consistent dashes. It is wider across than Cyclone, its left-leaning counterpart, which makes it more aggressive and correspondingly harder to control.

The closest reference point is Flat — similar overall behaviour, standard twelve gears, no gimmick beyond the tip geometry. It arrived with the first Custom Line release in March 2025 and has not displaced anything since. Rush and Low Rush remain the default competitive attack bits because they steer more easily and lose less spin per dash.

That leaves Vortex a preference pick rather than a required one: a viable aggressive tip for players who like how it feels, sitting alongside Flat and Cyclone rather than above them. Anyone building for results rather than feel swaps it for Rush.
