CX-01 opened the Custom line on 29 March 2025, and the naming needs unpacking before anything else: Dran Brave S6-60V is Lock Chip Dran, Main Blade Brave, Assist Blade S, Ratchet 6-60, Bit Vortex. The CX system splits the blade into three separately swappable pieces — the chip that holds it together, the metal main blade carrying the mass and contact points, and a plastic assist blade underneath — all interchangeable with other CX parts.
Brave is an attack main blade designed to generate downforce, pressing the bit harder into the stadium floor to increase grip and drive speed. Combined with the low 6-60 ratchet, the stock build sits low and aggressive. Hasbro released it in the West as Courage Dran S 6-60V.
Community assessment has been cautiously positive rather than enthusiastic — treated as workable but not a format-defining attack blade, with alternate assist blades and taller or grippier bits explored as improvements. As the first CX product it has obvious archival value regardless of tier placement.
