Wizard Arrow arrived with the very first wave — BX-03, one of the blades that shipped in Japan on 15 July 2023 — and it never left the meta. Where most launch parts got outclassed within a year, Wizard Arrow settled in as the default stamina blade of the early format: round, smooth, low-recoil, two big contact wings and very little for an attacker to grab. It is generally rated the second-best stamina blade of its era behind Wizard Rod, and the gap is mostly that Wizard Rod came later.
The tournament paper trail backs this up. WBO winning-combination reports from the format’s first months are full of it, and rarely in stock trim — 4-60B, 4-60HN, 4-60T and 3-80B all show up in placing decks. The blade stays; everything under it moves.
That is the practical read: Wizard Arrow is a chassis, not a fixed combo. Ball is the honest stock bit, but 4-60 with Taper, High Needle or Ball is where the results cluster.
