Hells Hammer opened the Unique Line as a Starter in March 2024. The UX designation signalled a construction change rather than a cosmetic one, and Hells Hammer showcased it with a thick outer band of metal wrapped around a three-armed blade built for downward smash force.
Reception has been lukewarm. Against the attack blades that define the tier — Dran Buster, Phoenix Wing, Tyranno Beat — Hells Hammer simply does not produce the same knockout rate, and it has never established a foothold in tournament results. It performs best when built low and launched flat with genuine shoot strength, which is a narrow set of conditions to ask a stock Starter to meet.
Hexa is the takeaway part. Its divided cone shape and high gear count give it strong burst resistance and a pronounced commitment to Xtreme Dash once it catches the rail, and it circulates in builds well beyond this release. As a purchase, this is a bit-and-launcher package where the blade is the accessory.
