UX-13 arrived in late January 2025 as a plain booster with no launcher and little fanfare, then turned out to be one of the more useful defensive releases of that stretch. Golem Rock stacks contact points high and low, giving it an answer to top-down attackers while keeping mass sitting where a defense blade wants it.
Under Needle is the other reason to pay attention. It rides lower than the standard Needle bit, dropping the whole combo and letting it counter from beneath instead of absorbing hits square-on. With the short 1-60 ratchet underneath, stock Golem Rock stays planted against aggression and destabilises attackers rather than merely surviving them.
Pure stamina isn’t its business, and long spin-offs against dedicated stamina builds will go badly, so the role is narrow but clearly defined. The parts travel well beyond this release too — 1-60 and Under Needle both find work elsewhere. Hasbro sells the identical blade under a flipped name, Rock Golem, which matters if you’re cross-referencing listings.
