This one has an awkward history. Shark Edge 3-60LF was the rare prize in BX-14 Random Booster Vol. 1 (Japan, 9 September 2023) — one of six possible pulls, and the only one pairing the low ratchet with Low Flat. That made a strong attack blade hard to get at retail for months, until Hasbro released the same blade as Keel Shark in a standalone booster.
The blade itself earns the hype. Two oversized wings do the contact work, angled upward so hits carry an upper component rather than pure sideways smash, and the mass sitting out at the rim gives it real burst-finish potential when it connects clean. Low Flat drops the whole assembly down to ratchet height, which is exactly where you want to be if the plan is to shear the opponent’s teeth rather than push them out.
The cost is stamina — noticeably worse than Dran Sword or Phoenix Wing. Miss the opening exchange and you have nothing left. Players who want the blade to survive a full round usually move it onto Point or Rush instead.
