Dran Buster 1-60A launched the Unique Line on 30 March 2024 as UX-01, and it changed what a stock combo could do. The gimmick is a single broadsword-shaped protrusion hanging off the underside of the blade, and it is the only part of the bey meant to touch anything. Connect with it and battles end instantly — the one-hit-kill reputation is deserved.
Everything around it is purpose-built rather than modular. The 1-60 ratchet is deliberately imbalanced to match the blade’s weight distribution, and Accel exists to make the Xtreme Dash arrive faster and heavier. Unique Line blades also use resin launcher hooks in place of metal ones, pushing weight further outward.
The practical problem is durability. Only one face of that protrusion ever makes contact, so it dents and chips with use, and a worn Dran Buster does not hit the same. Serious players buy multiples and rotate them. Collectors have finish variants to chase, including a CoroCoro Metal Coat Red release.
