Shark Scale did not get a starter. It came bundled in the UX-15 Deck Set from August 2025 alongside Tyranno Roar 1-70L and Hells Brave J3-60GF, which puts a three-bey price on a single blade if it’s the one you actually wanted. That packaging decision is the main thing collectors mention about it.
The blade itself is a Unique Line design with two oversized main contact points and a diving-shark sculpt, using resin launcher hooks to push weight outward for extra centrifugal force. Paired with the low 4-50 ratchet and the Under Flat bit, the stock build is tuned for low-position upper attacks — the idea is to slide underneath an opponent’s blade and lift, converting the hit into a burst or an over finish rather than a ring-out.
That plan lives or dies on getting under the other bey, so height-matching matters more than usual. Against tall attack builds it can find nothing to hit. Under Flat is the part most likely to migrate into other combos once the set is opened.
