Hells Hammer Blade

Hells Hammer is a three-sided Unique Line blade with three large smash wings that slope upward. It is labeled Balance, but the shape is pure attacker. Like other UX blades it uses resin launcher hooks instead of metal ones, which frees up mass for the outer rim. Takara Tomy’s pitch is hammering opponents down into the stadium floor. It weighs about 33 g; a later mold added a little metal for roughly half a gram more, and also fixed an early flaw that let it be launched from left-spin launchers.

It is easy to control and well balanced, which makes it pleasant in casual play. The weight is the limit: most competitive blades sit at 35 g or more, and fan wiki testing calls Hells Hammer too light to keep up. Retailer community reviews add that the down-smash gimmick does less than advertised. BeyMeta’s tier list still shows a handful of WBO podium points, enough for a low B tier, so it is a fringe pick rather than a dead part. Metal Coat versions lose paint quickly on the big wings.

It was designed around the stock Hexa bit, whose six-sided tip limits tilting, on a 3-70 ratchet. Sources suggest using it in varied setups to unsettle Defense combos rather than naming a definitive build. Players who want the same three-wing smash idea with more weight move to heavier Attack blades.
