Glide Bit (G)

Glide is the odd one in the stamina family: a ball-shaped tip moulded in POM rather than standard plastic, protruding from a plastic housing with two small protrusions flanking it. POM is a very low-friction material, so Glide has real stamina headroom — but low friction also means little grip, and that translates directly into higher knock-out risk. It also carries more gears than the standard count, which speeds up an Xtreme Dash when you land one and costs stamina in the meantime.

The protrusions are the interesting part. They let a Glide combo hold its posture as spin decays instead of falling into a wobble, and that stability made it the original bit of choice for spin-equalisation builds — notably the Cobalt Dragoon setups built specifically to answer Wizard Rod on Ball in official play.

It has since been displaced by Elevate, which does the same stabilising job better, and in attack-heavy fields the slick tip gets pushed out too easily. Still a solid part, no longer a required one.
