Wizard Arc Blade

Wizard Arc is the CX-02 stamina starter, made up of the Wizard lock chip, the Arc main blade and the Round assist blade. Arc is a light main blade, just over 29 grams, with two long curved wings that sweep backward. Round is a thick, rounded assist that fills the gaps under the wings. The curves are meant to deflect weak hits rather than trade them, and on taller builds the assist takes more of the contact, which helps keep spin.

Arc was an early go-to for CX stamina but has since fallen behind. The best stamina blades from the Basic and Unique lines, Wizard Rod and Silver Wolf, outspin it. It is also light enough that heavy attackers can push it around, so the height that helps its stamina also leaves it exposed to attack. Recorded tournament use is thin, and any rating of it should be treated as provisional.

Players who use it put a stamina assist underneath, usually Round, Wheel, Turn or Free, and pair it with a ball or orb style bit such as Free Ball, Low Orb or Hexa. A 70-height ratchet gives the most spin time. The 55 and 60 heights, 9-60 especially, are the safer choice when a lot of attack is expected. In 3v3 it fills a stamina slot against defense and other stamina builds. Players after a stronger stamina anchor move to Wizard Rod or Silver Wolf.
