Low Orb is a small plastic ball tip set roughly a millimetre below standard bit height. The shape is the same rounded family as Orb, but the sphere is smaller and the ride height lower, and both changes push it in the same direction: less contact area, less friction, less movement. Hard-launched, it does not travel — it traces a few tight circles near the middle of the stadium and then effectively parks. Compared to Orb, which drifts more freely and re-centres itself after being pushed, Low Orb is the more stationary and the more predictable of the two, which is the point of using it.
Its stamina is strong enough to take spin finishes off the large majority of same-spin opponents, and the round tip resists destabilisation in a way the needle-type bits simply do not. What it gives up for that stationary character is recovery. Once knocked off its axis, Low Orb re-stabilises less readily than Orb or Ball and will tip over sooner, so its safety is conditional on not absorbing a clean hit in the first place.
Pair it with heavy, low-recoil stamina blades and mid-height ratchets. Ball remains the default consistency pick and is where most players go when Low Orb loses a battle it should have won; Orb is the sidegrade for anyone who wants slightly more mobility back.
