Quake Bit (Q)

Quake is a Low Flat that has been cut off at a slant, leaving an elliptical, asymmetric contact face. Because that face is not perpendicular to the axis, the height of the contact point shifts through every rotation, and the bit kicks the bey into short, abrupt hops rather than tracking smoothly across the floor. Launch height sets the character of it: released as low as possible the hops stay small and occasional, released from higher they get taller and come more often. An angled launch is the standard way to stop the hopping from becoming outright random.

Be clear-eyed about it. Quake can still ride the X-Line and land an Xtreme Dash, and a clean early strike genuinely knocks opponents out — but the slanted face loses stability quickly as spin decays, stamina is among the worst in the format, and self knock-outs are common. Rush and Low Rush do the aggressive job far more reliably.

The wide shaft gives it strong burst resistance, so it is forgiving on burst-prone ratchets. It belongs under heavy attack blades where one good hit ends the round, and almost everyone who takes it to a tournament swaps to Rush before long. It is a fun part, not a competitive one.
